A Valley Model United Nations conference was held at Namangan State Institute of foreign languages named after Is'hakhan Ibrat with the participation of English teachers and international teachers (Andrea Parker, Nima Majidi, Colton Powaski, Hannah Rothwell) as well as higher education institutions and secondary education students in Fergana Valley.

Your next step is to research your assigned country’s position on our topic of “food insecurity.” Please use the instructions given at the end of your background guide (“Expectations for Position Papers & Conference Debate”, page 7) and position paper guidelines (page 4) for your preparation. Both of these documents were attached to your country assignment email.

Before you research your country’s relationship with our topic “food insecurity,” it is important to have a general understanding of the country you will represent - basic facts, culture, history, and current relations with other countries.
