هر سال یک تا دو case مختلف در جلسات تومور بورد غدد مطرح می شوند که اشتباهاً ابتدا بعنوان کانسر ریه تشخیص داده شده اند و بعداً مشخص می شود که بیمار مبتلا به کانسر تیروئید بوده است. انجام ایمونوهیستوشیمی در تظاهرات آتیپیک کانسرهای مختلف قویاً توصیه می شود. بعنوان مثال، در آدنوکارسینوم ریه، Napsin A و PAX8 مثبت هستند و در کانسر تیروئید حتماً مطمئن شوید که رنگ آمیزی تیروگلوبولین و/یا کلسی تونین علاوه بر TTF1 برای بیمار انجام شده است.

Every year, one to two different cases are discussed in tumor board meetings that have initially been misdiagnosed as lung cancer and later found to be thyroid cancer. Performing immunohistochemistry in atypical manifestations of various cancers is strongly recommended. For example, in lung adenocarcinoma, Napsin A and PAX8 are positive, and in thyroid cancer, make sure staining for thyroglobulin and/or calcitonin has been done in addition to TTF1 for the patient.

اخیراً یک مطالعه مروری سیتماتیک با تمرکز روی عوارض چشمی یُددرمانی با کمک همکاران خوبم در مشهد و کانادا به چاپ رسوندیم که مطالعه اون رو به همکاران علاقه مند به درمان بیماران مبتلا به کانسر تیروئید توصیه میکنم.

بر اساس صحبت های دکتر Herrmann در APCCC 2024، به نظر میرسه تصویربرداری بر پایه HK2 یا همون human kallikrein 2 در بیماران کانسر پروستات PSMA منفی، گزینه خوبی باشه که بیش از همه به موفقیت نزدیک هست.
