Really enjoyed the book and the mystery till the end. Kept me engaged with finding and assuming who can be the murderer but unlike other crime novels, this one is kept in third person's point of view. Thus, the mystery and suspense was kept safe. Very good plot and the character sketch. It starts with a court trial of a lady named Elinor who was accused of murdering a young girl. Then all the past happenings were described and bringing us to the detective Hercule Poirot who starts with his investigation to free the lady. Hope you like this book. ^_^

I picked up this one as a random recommendation from AI. Took a risk and started reading without checking out reviews and synopsis. As I went through this reading journey the story kept me engaged till the end. The book is set in the timeline of world war 2 when Germany occupied France. This book is full of different emotions from regret, love, passion to patriotism. You'll get glimpses of the hardships of the war here. There can be many different opinions for this book by so called critics, but personally I really liked it and it was worth reading for me. Why I gave 4 stars, well there are some parts where scenes depicting the places of France and there were few French words which was quiet difficult for me to imagine and interpret. ^_^

Book - The Burning Girls

It was really a good read for me this month full of twists and mysteries. The book is set in Sussex, a place where 2 young girls were burned in the name of religion, 500yrs ago at Chapel Croft.

The story focuses on a new Vicar who left her old church and moved to Sussex with her 16yrs old daughter, where the last reverend committed suicide. As the story goes by things get more darker and thrilling.

The book will surely keep you engaged till the end, making you wonder about all the mysteries and secrets buried in Chapel Croft. ^_^

I felt it bit slow paced at first but worth reading ?

"Ghanshyam Shashtri" is crime investigation novel set in Ahemadabad, Gujrat, India.

The protagonist, Ghanshyam Shashtri is a budding private detective who's yet to receive his first case. After struggling alot and trying luck for the last time, He finally got his first case of Suicide (or possibly a planned murder) of son of a famous jeweler in Ahmedabad, who shoots himself on Diwali night, just before a month from his wedding with suicide note Stating no reason for the Suicide.

Quite an interesting storyline with good plot development. The writing style is Quite simple and easy to read. I would Definitely Recommend it for Beginners or to someone who likes to read Indian Detective Novels.
