Big Congratulations to ASTU's Trailblazers!

We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the Employability Skills and Job Readiness Training held from May 10-13, 2024. A momentous salute to the senior and graduating students who took a significant step towards their future careers by participating in this comprehensive program organized by #StudentsSkillDevelopmentCoordinationOffice at #ASTU.

Throughout the four-day workshop, approximately 100 dedicated students delved into a variety of crucial topics aimed at bolstering their transition from academic life to professional environments. The training was a deep dive into self-discovery, helping students to understand and align their life and work values with their career paths. Participants engaged in SWOT analysis to pinpoint their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, crafting informed and strategic career plans.
The program didn't just stop at planning; it equipped our students with practical tools for job preparation, including resume building, job searching techniques, and mastering job applications. The participants also had the opportunity to hone their interview skills through mock sessions, learn the art of the elevator pitch, and undergo screening and employment testing simulations.
We are incredibly proud of each participant for investing in their professional growth. As these bright minds prepare to embark on their respective career journeys, we are confident that the skills and insights gained during the training will pave the way for their success. Here’s to a future where they not only achieve their dreams but are also instrumental in shaping a thriving and inclusive workplace.
