عن ميمون بن مهران رحمه الله قال

أدركت الناس وأنهم ليكبرون في العشر حتى كنت أشبهه بالامواج من كثرتها

وكان عبد الله ابن عمر رضي الله عنهما إذا أقبلت عشر ذي الحجة يمشي في طرقات المدينة يكبر ويكبر الناس من حوله حتى ترتج المدينة

Maymoon bin Mahran, may Allah have mercy on him, said

I saw, the people and they would do Takbirat in the ten days as though I it was similiar to waves because of their many (Takbirat).

And Abdullah Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, when the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah came, would walk in the streets of Medina, saying “AllahuAkbar” and the people around him would say it until the city shook.
