On April 27, 2019, John Timothy Earnest, the first White Terrorist inspired by Brenton Tarrant, commit the Poway synagogue shooting.

At approximately 11am, after posting his manifesto to 8chan, Earnest charged into the synagogue with his M&P15 and opened fire. He killed a jew and shot the rabbi, another jew and his 8yo niece. A jew returned fire unsuccessfully. After Earnest fled in his vehicle, he called 911 to explain his action and why it was necessary. He was arrested shortly thereafter.
