It's been a bit of a rough patch in my personal life.

Art has always been my expression, my escape, and one of the most helpful tools in my arsenal for helping me work through whatever's in my head. It's always been there for me no matter what else is going on, and it's always helped me through even the hardest stuff.

I guess part of what makes me want to share this is that I would love for it to empower you to use your creativity in a similar way.

Draw, paint, write, sing, scream, bake something, cook yourself an extra interesting meal...
Anything that lets you make the Raw Emotions rattling around so loudly in your head, transform them into ingredients through the very act of your creativity using them, and use them to make something special
that exists outside your head.

Cuz believe me, it frees up a lot of room in your brain when that stuff isn't occupying quite so damn much of it.

Those emotions aren't even paying rent while they're in there trashing the place either. They're being bad guests, so why not create someplace else for them to go?

And I wanna throw a bit of appreciation to everyone who may have messaged me over the past few weeks and not gotten a reply yet. (I also haven't been posting lil' things daily as much as I wanted to, and hope to get back into the swing of things with that).

It's been kind of a challenging time right now, and my headspace is definitely not where I'd like it.

Processing loss, grief, trying to get through the things that come up in my brain while I'm doing it.. it's a ride. It's definitely a ride.

But I'm okay.
Like, overall, I mean.
And we're doing the stuff we gotta do to get back to being able to say we're okay with a bit more meaning behind it.

Sometimes you just gotta keep on goin' to get where you wanna be. Y'know?
