al-Sayyid Murtaḍā al-Zabīdī al-Ḥusaynī:

“I discovered some of the eminent masters of the ṭarīqah (sūfī order) stating that he (Imām al-Hudā Abū Manṣūr al-Māturīdī) was the Mahdī of this ummah during his era.”

[Itḥāf al-Sādah al-Muttaqīn]

Imām Abū Ḥanīfah approached Ḥammād.

Ḥammād questioned, “Why have you come?”

Abū Ḥanīfah responded, “To learn fiqh.”

Ḥammād adivsed: “Learn three issues every day and do not surpass learning such amount until knowledge is unveiled to you.”

Abū Ḥanīfah performed as advised, persistently attending lectures till he attained mastery.

Imām Abū Ḥanīfah states:

“We love the prophetic household of Rasūlullāh ﷺ and attest to their virtues.”

Al-Faqīh Abul Layth al-Samraqandī al-Ḥanafī al-Māturīdī states:

“Refraining from hysterical laughter is necessary for the prudent.”

[Tanbīh al-Gāfilīn, pg.148]

قال رسول الله ﷺ : البركة مع أكابركم

Rasūlullāh ﷺ stated: “Blessings are with your elders.”
