?? Some of the Etiquettes of making Du'a to Allah

?Allah said:

وَإِذَا سَأَلَكَ عِبَادِى عَنِّى فَإِنِّى قَرِيبٌۖ أُجِيبُ دَعْوَةَ ٱلدَّاعِ إِذَا دَعَانِۖ فَلْيَسْتَجِيبُوا۟ لِى وَلْيُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِى لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُونَ

"And when My slaves ask you concerning Me, then I am indeed near - I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me - So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright."

?[Surah Al Baqarah: 186]

?Nabi Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Young man, I will teach you some words. Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you - Be mindful of Allah and you will find Him before you. If you ask, ask from Allah. If you seek help, seek help from Allah..."

?[Sunan al-Tirmidhi‌ 2516 | Sahih]

1. Pure sincerity/ tawhid/ solely to Allah, no shirk or bid'ah innovations, but directly to Allah alone.

2. Call upon Allah with the best of His names.

3. Mention your good deeds to Allah

4. Face the Kiblah

5. Raise your hands, palms up hands togehther, as a beggar, a slave of Allah

6. Praise Allah in any way

7. Send salutations to the prophet

8. Make your du'a in Arabic, but if unlearned in Arabic make du'a in any other language, but in the prayer must only be in Arabic

9. Repeat du'a 3 times

10. End du'a with salutations to the prophet Again.

11. Be consistent in your du'a and have certainty that Allah can grant it.

12. Know that Allah loves you to make du'a

⏳ Times when du'a is more effective

? In Sujud

? Raining

? In Tashahud

? When oppressed

? After the Azan, before Iqamah

? Before breaking fast

? last third of the night
