Sufyan At-Thawri, رحمه الله said:

**"Your companion you sit with should be the one who discourages you from Worldly matters, and encourages you with regards to the Afterlife.

And be warned from sitting with
'Worldly people' who delve into speech of Worldly matters, for indeed they will corrupt upon you your religion and your heart."**

Shaykh al-Fawzan حفظه الله:

**People do not pray and say that the religion is in the heart.

If it were to be in the heart, they would have prayed.**
