WHEN AUTHORITY GOES TO PEOPLE WHO DO NOT DESERVE IT, SIGNS OF THE HOUR.

Another one of those pre-eminent prophesies burgeoning to reality in these times, not just at the macro level but even at the micro level as well.

This is the nauseating reality of unqualified, dishonest, inexperienced callows preceding the wise elders endowed with insight. Their lack of knowledge boldly written. Vacuous heads mumbling and jumbling, employing stratagem that openly defy Prophetic Methodology.

People sans merit, salivating, gravitating towards high office. Enthusiastically seeking to provide solutions and resolutions not just for minor issues but serious ones as well but shamelessly paving towards a travesty.

This is a global phenomenon with no expert identification of the malaise except this clear and specific prophesy by the final Messenger sent to all mankind.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said,

"When honesty is lost, then wait for the Hour." It was asked, "How will honesty be lost, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He said, "When authority is given to those who do not deserve it, then wait for the Hour." [Sahih al-Bukhari 6496]

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِلاَلُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ إِذَا ضُيِّعَتِ الأَمَانَةُ فَانْتَظِرِ السَّاعَةَ ‏"‌‏.‏ قَالَ كَيْفَ إِضَاعَتُهَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏"‏ إِذَا أُسْنِدَ الأَمْرُ إِلَى غَيْرِ أَهْلِهِ، فَانْتَظِرِ السَّاعَةَ ‏"‌‏.‏

Thawban (رضي الله عنه) reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

“The People will soon summon one another to attack you as people when eating invite others to share their dish.” Someone asked, “Will that be because of our small numbers at that time?” He replied, “No, you will be numerous at that time: but you will be froth and scum like that carried down by a torrent of water, and Allah will take the fear of you from the breasts of your enemy and cast al-wahn into your hearts.” Someone asked, “O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), what is al-wahn?” He replied, “Love of the world and the hatred of death.” (Abu Dawood, Book 37, Hadith 4284).???

Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:

The Dajjal would come forth and a person from amongst the believers would go towards him and the armed men of the Dajjal would meet him and they would say to him: Where do you intend to go? He would say: I intend to go to this one who is coming forth. They would say to him: Don't you believe in our Lord? He would say: There is nothing hidden about our Lord. They would say: Kill him. Then some amongst them would say: Has your master (Dajjal) not forbidden you to kill anyone without (his consent)?

And so they would take him to the Dajjal and when the believer would see him, he would say: O people. he is the Dajjil about whom Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) has informed (us). The Dajjal would then order for breaking his head and utter (these words): Catch hold of him and break his head. He would be struck even on his back and on his stomach. Then the Dajjal would ask him: Don't you believe in me? He would say: You are a false Masih. He would then order him to be torn (into pieces) with a saw from the parting of his hair up to his legs.

After that the Dajjal would walk between the two pieces. He would then say to him: Stand, and he would stand erect. He would then say to him: Don't you believe in me? And the person would say: It has only added to my insight concerning you (that you are really the Dajjal). He would then say: O people, he would not behave with anyone amongst people (in such a manner) after me. The Dajjal would try to catch hold of him so that he should kill him (again). The space between his neck and collar bone would be turned into copper and he would find no means to kill him. So he would catch hold of him by his hand and feet and throw him (into the air) and the people would think as if he had been thrown in the Hell-Fire whereas he would be thrown in Paradise. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: He would be the most eminent amongst persons in regard to martyrdom in the eye of the Lord of the world.

✒ The Door Of Tawbah Is Open

Prophet Muḥammad Ṣallallāhu-ʿAlaihi Wa Sallam said:

فتح الله بابا للتوبة من المغرب عرضه مسيرة سبعين عاما لا يغلق حتى تطلع الشمس من نحوه

“Allāh has opened a door of repentance from West; the width of it being a distance of SEVENTY YEARS, it would NOT close UNTIL the (day) sun will rise from its direction (i.e West).”

More women will go to the Dajjal. A man will tie his mother, daughter, sister and aunt for the fear they will go to the Dajjal.

The Prophet ﷺ said: The Dajjal will camp in the salt marshes and most of those who go out to him will be women; a man will go to his relatives, to his mother, daughter, sister and paternal aunt, and tie them up for the fear that they will go out to him.

Mother:*
I fought with death when I was giving birth to you. I spent sleepless nights when you were sick and crying. I never ate without feeding you first. I bore so many pains to bring you to the stage that you are in today. _How will you repay me my child_?

Child:
When I grow up, I will find a good job and earn lots of money for you so you can enjoy the pleasures of this world.

Mother:
Your father is doing this already and I do not expect this from you too. By the time you are earning I will be old and will not be in need of any worldly luxuries.

Son:
I will find a pious lady and marry her so she can cook for you and take care of you.

Mother:
That is not her duty my son and neither should you marry for that reason. It is not compulsory on her to do any service to me, neither do I expect this from her. Your marriage should be for you, a companion and a comfort for you as you go through this journey of life.

Child:
Tell me mother how can I repay you then?

Mother:
(With tears in her eyes) Visit or call me often. A mother only requires this much from you while she is alive.
Then when I die give me your shoulder and bury me.
Whenever you perform prayers, supplicate for me.
Give out in charity for me.
Remember your every good deed will benefit me in the hereafter so be good and kind always.
Fulfill the rights of all those around you.
_The sleepless nights and pains I took to bring you up was not a favour to you but was for my creator. He blessed me with you as a beautiful gift and as a means for me to attain His pleasure. Your every good deed becomes my repayment._

Muslim narrated that Hudhayfah ibn Asid al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out to us when we were discussing. He said: “What are you discussing?” They said: “We are talking about the Hour.” He said: “It will never begin until you see ten signs before it.” He mentioned the smoke, the Dajjal, the Beast, the rising of the sun from its place of setting, the descent of ‘Isa ibn Maryam (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Yajuj and Majuj, and three landslides, one in the east, one in the west and one in the Arabian Peninsula, and the last of that is a fire which will emerge from Yemen and drive the people to their place of gathering.

A Bedouin approached the Prophet ﷺ and said:
“When will the Last Day be?” The Prophet ﷺ was talking to his companions, so he ﷺ continued his talk not wanting to be interrupted.

Perhaps, Allah is All-Knowing, it was a continuous discussion. Some people said that the Prophet ﷺ heard the man clearly but he disliked the question. Indeed, whenever a person detests the question of the questioner, there is no harm if he chooses not answer it even if he heard the question. A questioner could be lacking in wisdom and maturity and thus asks an inappropriate question. Therefore, the respondent should avoid answering the question.

Others however said the Prophet ﷺ might not have heard what the man said. When the Prophet ﷺ concluded his speech, he said:
“Where is the one who inquired about the Last Day?” The man replied, ‘Here I am O Messenger of Allah.’ He ﷺ said: “When the practice of honouring a trust is lost, expect the Last Day.”

That is, when people become corrupt and matters are entrusted to the wrong people, verdicts are entrusted to the ignorant, the foolish are made leaders and administration is entrusted to one who has no knowledge of administration.

In summary, you should expect the Last Day when people become corrupt. This is because the Hour will be established while only the most corrupt people remain. Therefore, this contains a clear warning against betrayal of trusts. In addition, it shows that it is mandatory to appoint qualified people since this is a precondition to upholding trust.
