The Community Development office has been VERY amenable to public input and as a result they have updated the proposed code so it will NO LONGER allow cannabis dispensaries, bars, restaurants, retail stores, or grocery stores in some of the neighborhood districts. ???

???NOW IS THE TIME TO ASK THEM TO ALSO REMOVE THE MAXIMUM PARKING CAP. As written, the code would severely limit parking at businesses, especially restaurants & bars. For instance, a 3000 square foot restaurant, which may have seating for 100-120 customers and ~15-20 staff, would ONLY be allowed 15 PARKING SPACES! This is clearly UNACCEPTABLE and no business would want to operate this way.
