So today I went to the hospital for the post surgery check up.

At this point I’m still not allowed to work, lift or strain my wrist/hand for 4 weeks minimum. Also no driving ?

My stitches looked good but they had to remove some (no fun time for me?) to give me more freedom and less pulling sensation.

I will start a special hand therapy Thursday, they are positive for me work wise and recovery, but I will not have to same mobility with certain movements like I had. Which was hard for me to hear and a personal grieving moment. They where positive overal and reassured me.

I can’t say how long this process will take, all I know is that I won’t be able to work for a month minimum which makes me sad cause I truly miss my work. And after that I will be very slow / learning things from the start basically. I’ve got some great friends who help me tho ? I will remain positive and do all what I can to be back in the saddle. I want to thank everyone for the understand, care and amazing support.
