Art and the City, panel discussion and netwotking series was kicked off at Kebena House on the 23rd of March - 2024,  under the title " Patrons of Art".

Our moderator was Ato Agegnehu Adane (Director of Addis Ababa University Alle School of Fine Arts and Design). Our distnguished panelists were Ato Bekelle Mekonen (Artist), Miftah Zeleke ( Founder of Guramayne Art Center) and Alebel Desta ( International Architecture Award winner Architect).

Taking the sculptural work infront of the recently inaugurated headquarter of Commercial Bank of Ethopia, the panelists shared their experiences and views on the significance of collaboration between patrons, in this case corporate and public projects leadership, architects, artists, curators and art project managers. Panelists also shared their views on the value of public space art works in the city and their contribution to urbanism.
