What are you all doing to create an alternative lifestyle for yourselves going forward?

Some ideas below, by no means conclusive. Take what resonates. Leave what doesn't.

Making use of alternative decentralised social media such as Bastyon

Switching to de-googled devices

Finding out where your local farmers are, chatting to them and seeing if they use pesticides and how they farm, and if all good, buying from them

Hooking up with freedom food providers and using them, as well as sourcing the best retailers online if nothing else is local to you

Being committed to taking control of your health. Healthy eating, a little exercise, maybe fasting. The aim is to not need to rely on centralised health care which could end up having strings attached

Checking out the people's health alliance for alternative health and other services i.e more holistic health support such as homeopathy, functional health, essential oils etc

Being a conscious consumer and trying to avoid big corp where you can. That means staying off Amazon and the like, and buying local where possible

Using cash to purchase items. If doing this locally it puts more money into your own area and helps small businesses avoid card payment charges

Refusing to use self checkout tills. If you wanted to be a check out person, you would get a job in a supermarket. Add to this attempting to explain to staff that you are trying to save their job by refusing to use self check out

Looking at alternatives to just having cash. So perhaps learning about crypto, and gold and silver, and having a bit of both

Learning a bit about the legal and other systems we are currently in, so that you can at least defend yourself and know your rights

Making local connections and those further afield, of like minded people. We all need a network and it's likely we will need to help each other going forward. Not everyone is at the same level, so it's about finding who resonates with you

Switching to home education if you can. Schools seem to be dangerous indoctrination camps now

Spending time in nature and being thankful for what we do have. Gratitude is important for a positive mindset and even though it may have been tough recently, there is always something we can be grateful for

Being kind to those that are on the same journey as us. Helping where we can. Perhaps if we have job offers, or help to offer as regards home education
