I never did consider myself a non-Christian. Because I couldn't ever bring myself to reject Jesus Christ. I could only ignore and pretend he wasn't there. I didn't come back and really try to be Christian again till one of my online friends convinced me to do a Bible study with him and a few others in 2020. When I began doing that, I started praying again and slowly got familiar with God. Nothing was like the faith I knew as a child. I remember when I was praying again and I felt like something was so different, I felt like I was dead inside, like I was talking to nothing, trying to reach out in vain. I didn't get that feeling in my forehead as I got as I prayed as a child. Weird thing to say, I know, but I used to feel like my prayers were going somewhere and I was talking to someone.

It was years before it began to come naturally again, it took a long time to reestablish that relationship with God.
