?⚔**The Dead Father and His Wish:

Long ago in the land of Persia there ruled a Sultan called Mustafa in the kingdom of Nasra. He ruled the kingdom wisely and just. The people in the kingdom were in peace and prosperity. The Sultan had a very beautiful wife but had no child.

The Sultan and his wife prayed to god. "Oh God! I have enough wealth. My people are in peace. But I have no heir to my kingdom". He prayed to God again and again. After long years, his wife had a child of beauty. The king was in joy. They called the child as Zakir. The child grew in to an intelligent young man. He loved his father and mother most. He learned war fare also. Mustafa considered that he was suitable to be a King.

So he conducted a ceremony and declared him as his prince. Some days later Mustafa tell ill and died suddenly. Zakir burled his father in a grave and he came to the throne as a Sultan. He also ruled the kingdom peacefully. One day in his dream his father asked him to dig his grave. Zakir told his mother about it. His mother thought that it would disagree his father. But her son insisted on digging up the grave of his father.

He thought that his father's orders must be obeyed. So he decided to dig the grave. The next morning he went to the grave and dug it with the spade. He was praying to god and his father. Suddenly he heard a different sound from the space. There he found some steps in the grave. He was surprised a while and stepped down slowly. There he saw a big room below the grave. He moved inside the room with watchful eyes in the darkness. To his surprise he saw some statues in the corner of the room. They were eight in number. All of them were made of gold, their dress glittering with diamonds and other precious stones. They were arranged in a straight line. He counted them. They were eight.

Zakir never had heard of the statues he had seen there. When he went near the eighth statue, it said. "There is a ninth one out side the cave in the kingdom. You go and get it!" He thought that the ninth one would be more precious and beautiful than those. So he came out of the grave. When he came out, he met an old man on the way. The old man told Zakir. 'Are you the king? If it is right I am waiting for you majesty".

When Zakir said "yes", the old man asked him to hurry and find the ninth statue saying that it was his father's wish. He also gave him a magical mirror. He said "It will reflect only one girl in the kingdom and that is your ninth statue."

Zakir took the mirror from the old man. Soon the old man disappeared from there. Zakir took the mirror and entered each and every house to find his ninth statue. He showed the mirror to all the maidens one by one. But no one was figured in the mirror. Days passed he continued his searching. Finally one day he passed by a house. He heard a melodious song that made him to stay there for a while. He wanted to see the girl for a while. So he entered the house. There he saw her father and asked him permission to meet his daughter. He said, “Your majesty" It is my luck that you are in my house. You can see her now".

The old noble man asked his daughter to come out. When she came out Zakir showed the mirror in front of her. There he saw a wonderful figure of beauty in the mirror.

“Yes! Yes! I have found the ninth statue here! No! No, my princess" he shouted in joy. He was amazed at her beauty and fell in love with her.

Then Zakir asked her father to give her away in marriage. The old noble man readily agreed. Zakir went to the palace and met his mother and told all that happened in the old man’s house. She also asked him to marry the old man’s daughter. So Zakir married her with the blessings of all in the kingdom and fulfilled the wish of his father in the dream. He and his princess ruled their kingdom with justice for long.@Story_oftheday@kahaniya_channel ?  ?  ?  ?  ⛪️**‌‌

*?*??Return of Princess and Her Ruby:

Long years ago, Zaman was the Prince of a small Arab kingdom. He went to a nearby forest with his Princess Badora for a camp. After the meals the Princess removed all her jewels to take rest in the tent.

When the Princess put the jewels beside her, a bird flew down fast and took a jewel with a Ruby stone. On hearing the sound of the flying bird she cried for help “Alah! My precious stone."

The Prince said "Don't worry. I will surely get it back dear." He soon hurried towards the direction of the flying bird which took the jewel The Prince ran very fast as he could.

But it was very difficult for him to chase the bird by land. In a few minutes the bird was far away and finally went out of sight.

He said. ‘What can I do now?" He had gone very deep in the thick forest and finally he lost the way and stopped there for a while. There he remembered the Princess Badora. He thought 'Alah my Princess was alone in the camp. I shall go back fast to meet the Princess."

He tried to return back through thorns and thick bushes At end he reached the place where he left the Princess. But for his shock there was no Princess. So he cried, “O my dear Badora! Where are you dear?" But it was in vain. There was no reply from his wife.

Princess Badora had waited for some time there. She was scared by the forest animals. So she wandered here and there and finally came to a Kingdom on the other side of the forest. The Kingdom was ruled by King Aram. She narrated what happened in the forest. King Aram took pity on her and allowed her to stay in his Palace till her husband Zaman rescued her.

But Zaman was wandering here and there and came to a beautiful garden. He was very tired and could not walk too. So he wanted to take rest in the garden for a while. He sat under a shadow of a big tree At the top, some birds were fighting with each other. He saw keenly what they were trying to snatch from the other bird. To his wonder one bird dropped something from her beak. When it came down, it glittered brightly.

Zaman jumped quickly and picked up the glittering object before the birds tried. On seeing the object he shouted in joy, “Here is my wife's Ruby" I am very lucky. Oh! God."

And put it in his bog but he felt sod because he missed his Badora and could not find her anywhere in the forest.

After some days Prince Zaman reached the Kingdom of King Aram. There he came to know that a new Princess had arrived to their palace some days ago. He prayed to God. "Oh God! It Shall be the princess Badora!" He wanted to find the princess in disguise. So he disguised himself as a merchant and took a jar of honey to the King Aram's palace. There he dropped the ruby stone in the jar of honey and asked a guard to present it to the new Princess only.

The guard gave the jar to the new Princess. The Princess asked her servant to pour the honey into a pot To her surprise, she found the ruby stone in the jar which was stolen by the bird in the forest. As she found the ruby she shouted in joy…oh! My ruby."

Asked herself, “How did the merchant get her Ruby? "Soon the Princess ordered her servant to bring the merchant to her.

Immediately they brought the merchant before the Princess Badora. On seeing the walk and face of the merchant, she identified her prince and said “ O Prince, Are you in disguise?" The Prince Zaman cried in joy, 'O princess, my Badora!’

Soon both of them met the King Aram and the Prince described the past incidents to him. King Aram sent them with greetings to their Kingdom.

Zaman's sincere effort was fruitful. The Princess got her ruby and the Prince got his Princess Badora.@Story_oftheday@kahaniya_channel ?  ?  ?  ?  ⛪️**

*??‍♂The Saucy Boy ?*

In a tiny cottage in a small village lived a naughty boy known for his saucy remarks. One day, his mother, tired of his cheekiness, decided it was time for a lesson.

“Off you go to the world and learn some manners!”. She declared. With a mischievous grin, the boy packed his things and set off on his adventure.

The boy hadn’t walked far when he met an old lady on the road. “Good day, Mother,” he said with a sly smile. “You’re so hunched, you could mix the batter in your hump!”

“Oh, you saucy boy! Your tongue will get you in trouble one day!” the old lady scolded, shaking her finger.

But the boy just laughed and continued on his way until he reached the king’s castle. There, he boldly marched up to the king. “Your Highness,” he said, “I’ve heard your knights are brave, but I bet I can be cheekier than any of them are courageous!”

Amused by the boy’s audacity, the king chuckled. “If you can prove it, I’ll reward you with a bag of gold. But if you fail, I’ll have you thrown in the dungeon.”

The boy accepted the challenge and soon became renowned in the kingdom for his saucy words. He made the princess laugh and the queen gasp. He even teased the king’s horse for having four legs but still being unable to put a log on the fire!

Finally, the king declared, “You truly are the sauciest boy in the land!” and gave him a bag of gold.

With his pockets heavy, the boy returned home. His mother greeted him, astonished. “My son, have you learned nothing from your journey?”

The boy winked and handed her the gold. “I’ve learned that a saucy tongue can be more precious than gold, but don’t worry, Mother. With this, I’ll buy us a better life, and yes, perhaps I’ll be a little less saucy.”

And from that day on, the boy was still playful but knew well when to let his sauciness shine and when to keep it in check, for every word has its place and time.

?Moral of The Story?

“The Saucy Boy” by Hans Christian Anderson teaches us that while cleverness and wit can be charming, knowing when to use them is the true mark of wisdom@Story_oftheday@kahaniya_channel ?  ?  ?  ?  ⛪️**

*?*?The Happy Prince Short Story

Once upon a time, in a splendid city, there stood a magnificent statue of the Happy Prince. He was gilded with fine gold, had sapphires for eyes, and a ruby glowed on his sword hilt.

The Happy Prince had never known sorrow in his lifetime. But now, high above the city, he saw all the misery and ugliness of his city, and tears flowed from his sapphire eyes.

One night, a little Swallow flew over the city. He was en route to Egypt but decided to rest between the feet of the Happy Prince.

“Why are you crying?” chirped the Swallow, surprised to see a statue cry.

“I see the suffering of my people and cannot help but weep,” the Prince replied. “Will you be my messenger and take the ruby from my sword to a poor seamstress whose child is sick?”

Touched by the Prince’s kindness, the Swallow agreed. He took the ruby and dropped it into the seamstress’s lap.

The next night, the Prince asked the Swallow to take one of his sapphire eyes to a struggling playwright. The Swallow did as asked, though he grew sadder, knowing the Prince was going blind.

On the third night, the Prince requested his other eye be given to a match girl who had lost her matches and was afraid to go home empty-handed.

“But you will be blind,” protested the Swallow.

“Do as I ask,” implored the Prince.
So, the Swallow plucked out the Prince’s other eye and took it to the match girl.

Now, the Happy Prince was blind, and the Swallow, moved by his generosity, vowed to stay with him forever.

The Swallow told the Prince of the places he had seen, and the Prince told stories of the joys and sorrows of his people. The Swallow took off the gold leaf covering the Prince, piece by piece, and gave it to the poor.

Eventually, winter came. The Swallow grew weaker, but he stayed with the Prince, his friend.

Finally, the Swallow died at the Prince’s feet, and at that moment, the Prince’s lead heart broke in two.
The next day, the townsfolk, seeing the now dull and unattractive statue, decided to melt it down. But the broken lead heart did not melt. Nor did they find the dead Swallow.
God, from His high heavens, spoke to His angels, “Bring me the two most precious things in the city.”
The angels brought Him the lead heart and the dead Swallow. God smiled and said, “In my garden of paradise, this little bird shall sing forever, and in my city of gold, the Happy Prince shall praise me.”

Moral of the Story

The moral of “The Happy Prince” by Oscar Wilde is that true happiness is found in selfless acts of kindness and compassion towards others. It teaches that material wealth and beauty are less important than empathy and generosity in alleviating the suffering of those in need‌‌@Story_oftheday@kahaniya_channel ?  ?  ?  ?  ⛪️**

*?*The Elephant Rope

Once upon a time in a small village, there was an elephant camp, where majestic elephants lived. A curious little boy visited the camp one sunny afternoon. He noticed something very odd – each enormous elephant was tied by a small rope to a stake in the ground.

The kid, puzzled, approached the elephant trainer. “Excuse me, sir, why are these giant elephants held by just these tiny ropes? Can’t they break free?” he asked, pointing at the ropes.

The trainer smiled kindly at the little boy and said, “Ah, you see, when these elephants were just little babies, we used the same size rope. Back then, it was strong enough to hold them. They tried to break free, but they couldn’t, and eventually, they stopped trying.”

“But now they are so big and strong! Can’t they break the rope now?” The boy wondered aloud.

“Yes, they can,” the trainer nodded. “But because they believe they cannot, they don’t even try.”

The little boy looked at the elephants, deep in thought. “So, they think they can’t break the rope just because they couldn’t when they were little?”

“Exactly,” the trainer replied. “They carry this belief from their past that they can’t break free, so they don’t challenge their bonds.”

The boy’s eyes widened in realization. “It’s like when I thought I couldn’t climb the big mango tree because I fell once. But then I tried again last week, and I did it!”

The trainer chuckled. “Yes, just like that. Sometimes, we can do more than we think. We just need to believe in ourselves and not let past failures stop us.”

The little boy smiled, looking at the elephants with new eyes. “Thank you, sir! I’m going to tell my friends that they shouldn’t give up, just like I won’t!”

And with a heart full of new understanding, the kid ran off to share the story of the elephants and the rope with his friends, reminding everyone that they should never let past failures limit their future.

? Moral of The Story?

The moral of The Elephant Rope fable is:

Don’t let past failures limit your future possibilities. Believe in your own strength and potential to overcome challenges.

The Elephant Rope story teaches that limitations are often psychological and self-imposed. Just like the elephants who believe they cannot break free from the rope due to past experiences, people may hold onto limiting beliefs based on their past failures or difficulties.

The fable encourages breaking free from these mental constraints to realize one’s true potential.@Story_oftheday@kahaniya_channel ? ? ? ? ⛪️**
