i just bought myself a hairdryer + heated comb for myself because ive been looking for it and saw it whilst walking after lunch, it was 199 for the hairdryer alone but the promo gives the heated comb (99) for free if its with the big ticket items (hairdryers), and the staff was so nice to give me extra 10% off so it was free heated comb + 10% off + free hairclips + free hairpods (the tiktokshop one)

quite a good expenditure cuz ive been wanting to get a lighter hairdryer for myself so i have no excuse for not wanting to do a deep wash of my hair

ill be called out cuz this was a convo, but i dont mind because this is what im thinking about right now

when glass shatters,

a skilled glasssmith has to use their passion and love into firing the glass to create a new piece. it cannot be fused together just as metal can be welded together, and even then, metal welding is a whole other beast

but the heat is so hot not everyone can handle the firing of the glass, only those who love the art would be willing to withstand the heat for the desire of creating something new

a rose with thorns can prick the rose lover, they may choose to break off the thorns to prevent it from hurting them. some may put it in a glass, away from all possibilities of harming them, whilst letting them adore it in its beauty.

some people may choose to keep the rose as it is, to let the rose be a rose in all of its natural beauty, they may not know how to take care of the rose so they choose to preserve it. the idea of preserving death in its final stages could cause them to love withered roses in all of its beauty

glass needs firing to be made into another version of art.

metal can be welded together skillfully to bring together 2 separate pieces into something new and special.

i think before i leave

i would like to cherish a glass rose, crafted in all of ifs beauty, with thorns sharp enough to hurt, but blunt enough for you to trace your fingers across each thorn knowing that it symbolises the ability to hurt but the knowledge to not be hurt

i would like to weld metals in all of their lowest times, bonded together into a metal rose. each scrap metal symbolising the hardships that got me to where i am today

and i would like to own a withered rose with thorns, because the beauty i found in keeping the rose placed at my loved one's funeral, it symbolising the beauty and preservation of death, i think i would like to own a rose, a symbolism of love to myself and to others

i think i would want the glass, metal and withered rose to be bound together, to remind me that life is the art of love, pain and death
