The main topic is the Kharkiv region. Today, Russian troops tried to expand their operations against Ukraine. We understand the size of the occupier's forces, we see their intentions. Our warriors, our artillery, our drones are retaliating against the occupier. I am grateful to each of our soldiers, each sergeant, each officer who are defending our positions in exactly the way it is necessary.

We are adding more forces to Kharkiv directions. Both along our state border and along the entire front line, we will invariably destroy the occupier in a way that will disrupt any Russian offensive intentions.

Today, the Commander-in-Chief reported to me in the morning and in the evening, and I constantly keep in touch with the Minister of Defense — we are providing everything required to protect our positions. It all depends on the resilience of our warriors, and everyone who is holding their positions now is holding the positions of the entire Ukraine.

It is important that our partners support our warriors and Ukrainian resilience with timely supplies. I mean truly timely. The really helpful package is the weapons brought to Ukraine, not just the announcement of the package. I thank every leader who looks at the situation this way.

🇺🇦🇸🇪 Met with representatives of the Swedish Riksdag Finance Committee.

We discussed the continuation of defense assistance, further strengthening of sanctions pressure on russia, as well as the implementation of the Peace Formula and Ukraine's path to the European Union and NATO.

Expressed gratitude to the Committee on Finance for all the decisions in support of Ukraine.

I also thanked for their support of the President Zelenskyy's Peace Formula. I expressed the expectation that Sweden would participate at the highest level in the Global Peace Summit.

In difficult times, Ukraine needs the support of friends and partners. I congratulated Sweden on its accession to NATO and asked it to support Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic intentions during the NATO Summit.

In conclusion, I emphasized that it is russia and putin who must pay for the war started by russia. Therefore, our common task as parliamentarians is to find a legal mechanism for this.

*⚡️ THE MOST MASSIVE AIR ATTACK.
ON 29 DECEMBER, 114 OF 158 AIR TARGETS WERE DESTROYED

Last night, the enemy launched a massive missile attack against Ukraine. Critical infrastructure, industrial and military facilities were attacked. Unfortunately, there are dead and injured.

✔️ At first, the occupiers traditionally attacked with "shaheds" from the north and southeast, followed by a move to the west. A total of 36 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were spotted.

✔️ Around 3.00 am, the enemy took strategic aviation into the air — Tu-95MS bombers. In total, 18 aircraft reached the launch line at around 6.00 am and launched at least 90 X-101/X-555/X-55 air-launched cruise missiles.

✔️ From the kursk region, at around 05.00, the enemy used Tu-22M3 long-range bombers to launch eight X-22/X-32 cruise missiles in the direction of the northern and central regions.

✔️ At the same time, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv with S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. In total, the enemy fired at least 14 ballistic missiles — S-300/S-400/Iskander-M — from the occupied Crimea, kursk and belgorod regions of russia.

✔️ At 6.30 a.m., five MiG-31K fighter jets were seen taking off and launching five X-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles from astrakhan region.

✔️Also four X-31P and one X-59 anti-aircraft missiles were fired from Su-35 tactical aircraft.

❗️According to preliminary results, the enemy used 158 air attack weapons against Ukraine last night: missiles of various types and strike UAVs.

💥 The forces and means of the Air Force, in cooperation with the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine, destroyed 114 air targets:

🛬 27 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs
🚀 87 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles.

The Air Force of Ukraine

It's been a difficult night. Unfortunately, with the destruction, the wounded and the dead... It was one of the most massive attacks by the aggressor on peaceful Ukrainian cities. But Ukraine has withstood again. Our air defence forces once again demonstrated extraordinary skill, shooting down dozens of air targets, drones and missiles. And we are grateful to all the services, the State Emergency Service and medics who risked their lives to respond to reports of the consequences of enemy shelling, rescuing people and providing aid to the injured.

With this massive attack, putin and his army of inhumans have once again demonstrated to the world that they do not seek any peace. They are nothing but terrorists and war criminals. They should not be spoken to through diplomacy, but through the language of force and just and inevitable punishment for all the crimes they have committed, the destruction, injuries and deaths of innocent people.

Ukraine has withstood. Ukraine cannot be intimidated or broken. The struggle continues.

*🇺🇦 Ukrainian graces successfully performed at the international rhythmic gymnastics tournament Warsaw Autumn 2023 in the Polish capital.*

Our athletes won five awards: four golds and one silver.

After celebrating the victory in the all-around, Anastasiia Ikan (category A) and Vlada Nikolchenko (category B) later shared first place on the podium in the final of the clubs, receiving the same score of 32.500 for their performance.

Anna Shchuruk (all-around, category B) became the silver medallist of the competition.
