The establishment publicity machine has gone into overdrive, even the Covid narrative wasn’t pushed as hard as I’ve seen about; EDL, far right, immigrants needed for the NHS, economic benefits of immigration, etc etc.

The liberals are doubling down on all the old tropes.

The overkill is quite vigorous, feels like over compensating.

Chinese curse allegedly “may you live in interesting times” but it is informative and let’s face it never dull.

The government shouting “Far Right” is the political equivalent of Here Be Dragons! A vague pointed finger which is confession that they don’t actually know or understand what is there. Who is this “Far Right”?
The EDL trope fell apart almost instantly when it was pointed out that they no longer exist. A quick check with Companies House would have confirmed that.
What UK Government are doing is lazily employing a label to demonise what they do not like or agree with. This is an ideological label and by contrast the government have shown their hand, they will oppress not govern.
It will happen again with the next crisis and slowly but surely each opposing interest will be ground down until there is only one ideology, one party, one leader.
No wonder pejoratives are being thrown around.
But have the establishment the resources to maintain this level of control? This will end in a battle of wills and is quickly becoming an existential crisis which the establishment is failing to recognise and are in fact accelerating.
