Deportations and remigration are absolutely possible. They wouldn’t even be complicated.

The other day I saw an excerpt from firsthand German accounts who interviewed British POWs during WWII.

According to these Germans, the British soldiers had little to no idea why they were fighting Germany. Only the aristocratic officers held notions such as “fighting to protect Britain”, which bemused the German interviewers.
