Having known them one way or another, I know they all deserved to clear the exam and they have my congratulations as well as my guidance in navigating their new careers in the civil services.

But today, I want to shout-out to the ones who did not get the rank they wanted or did not make it to the final list. I want to say-

*While the above deserved to be in the list, you do not deserve to be excluded from it. I know that because to some extent, I know you. You have breached a level that is achievable only by a handful of humans- that should tell you a lot about yourself if you think logically about it.

You're not out. You did not lose.

You're winners who don't know your own value.

I'm proud of you.*
