Meet some of the brilliant Jewish minds behind Viacom/CBS, now operating as Paramount Global ?

Ralph Baruch, the first president and CEO of the first incarnation of Viacom, which was spun off from CBS in 1971 amid new FCC regulations.

Michael Redstone (born Max Rothstein) founded National Amusements, Inc.; it is currently the controlling shareholder of Paramount Global, an entertainment conglomerate corporation, and is presided over by his granddaughter Shari.

Sumner Redstone was the founder and chairman of the second incarnation of Viacom, which lasted from 2005 to 2019, when his daughter Shari merged it back together with CBS, and later transferred it to Paramount Global.

Shari Redstone is the president of National Amusements and non-executive chairwoman of Paramount Global, which includes the former ViacomCBS. Through National Amusements, the Redstone family holds majority ownership over numerous prominent TV networks and media outlets.
