*Should I take a higher risk than I am currently taking

*Should I study new investing avenues like cryptocurrency

*Should I try to time the market, or should I just stay put?

*Do I need a financial advisor?

*Debt funds for liquidity, or FDs for slightly higher returns?

*Indexing or trying to beat the market

And there must be many others that you must be facing.
Let me know what dilemmas you face, and I will try to arrange panel discussions about those conflicts, to give you all perspectives in an unbiased manner

Investing in stock markets is much more than knowing which stock you should invest in.

Of course there are many lessons I have learnt over the years, both financial and non-financial, but we’ll stick to one of the biggest here.

Most people who invest in stock markets are inspired by such incidents:

You must have heard stories of how investing Rs.10,000/- in XYZ stock 10 years back would have become over a crore by now.

But do you think you would have had the patience to hold on to the stock when it is celebrating Diwali every day, and giving a 100% return after a year.

Also, would you have had the conviction to hold on to it when it dipped and lost 50% value after a few years? It feels like you lose all ability to think and act when that happens.

Most of all, can you wait for the feeling of a dip of 50% converting to a growth of 150% over a year, or more?

Without patience, conviction in the choice of your stock, and risk management, all the knowledge in the world won't help.

One way to convert all these points to your advantage is to do your own research. If you truly believe in a company and its future growth, you will probably be able to handle the ups and downs of its stock price.

1) invest only in companies you believe in. Only that belief will allow you to hold on while the stock price goes up and down

2) invest money that you won't need for at least 5 years

3) don't get sold on free tips, friendly recommendations, penny stocks etc.

4) get very rich over time
