Palestine Cinema Days in Basel
On the somber anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, observed on November 2nd, and in an effort to amplify Palestinian voices, we are screening six films on the topic of Palestine during the whole day at Quartiertreffpunkt LoLa, Basel, Switzerland. The screenings are free of charge.

We will start the afternoon by time travelling into the past, from Israel's bombing of Gaza in 2021, to the 2012 Syrian civil war, to the First Intifada in '87-'93, to Palestinian resistance in Lebanon in the '70s. We will finish the evening with beautiful films that explore the lived realities of Palestinians under apartheid and their memories of villages they were ethnically cleansed from.

We demand that Crispino Bergamaschi, director of FHNW, engage in immediate dialogue with us regarding our demands concerning Palestine, and, we therefore call for a strike.

We cannot and do not want to postpone the meeting to the autumn semester, as the directory suggested. Bergamaschi's holidays and the institutional agenda do not matter to us.

BERGAMASCHI, YOU CAN'T POSTPONE A MOVEMENT!
