The key to self-mastery is to be the person you admire.

Focus on the identity you're building.

Don't just think about the goals you want to achieve.

What would that person do?

How would they behave?

How would they think?

Keeping your desired identity in mind helps you act aligned with that identity.

Their habits become your habits.

And eventually, you’ll become the sort of person you admire.

You don't have to apologize for your growth.

"Sorry, I'm not drinking tonight".

"Sorry, I'm working today".

"Sorry, I'm spending time with family this afternoon".

You're literally apologizing for putting yourself first.

That doesn't make any sense.

When they say "you've changed" your reply should be "a change for good".

You’re under no obligation to be the same person you were a year or a month ago.

And if someone has noticed a positive change in your habits and behavior, let that be a good sign you're on the right path forward.

Let me say it again: You don't have to apologize for your growth.

Reminder: It's never too late.

You might be someone who feels like they've wasted years of their lives because of poor choices.

They spent years in a relationship that was toxic, years studying the wrong thing, and years at a job where they weren't fulfilled.

But you have to realize that nothing you have ever been through is ever wasted.

Your past experiences, good and bad, shape who you are.

It's not the END !

As long as you are alive and healthy, you get as many second chances as you want.

It's not too late to leave that relationship.

It's not too late to choose a new Course /study.

It's not too late to switch careers.

Just DON'T GIVE UP EVER !! Believe in yourself have faith and just move forward !!

I'm sure you've heard that "comparison is the thief of joy".

And like a thief, it needs an opportunity.

It needs a way in.

The way you leave the door unlocked is by taking your eyes off your own journey and looking to someone else.

You become vulnerable that way, and the thief will take away your happiness.

There will always be someone with more money, a bigger house, better looking, and more successful.
But please look at your own life with more observation once in a while for it may make you realise the very worth of your own life, your own journey, your own unique story that you are creating and processing in this world. You have got uncountable blessings until now which really do count in your life.

Still When you compare yourself to others, you will always find something you lack. And will always realise late what precious things, blessings you was having at that very moment..!!

Run your own race.
And always remember the most important thing that nobody, literally no one in this world can play your role better than YOU !! You bring to this world the thing, the unique things that nobody else can !! So please just STOP...STOP comparing yourself with others.

"OVERTHINKERS", read this:

  1. That story ain't real.

None of it. That fear, insecurity, and that imaginary story you're obsessing about, it's all in your head. Every time you find yourself in that story, dragggggg  yourself to the present.

  1. You don't know

Accept it. You're going crazy jumping to conclusions about a thing that isn't even there. Sometimes it's okay to just accept and tell yourself "i don't know".

  1. What if, what if

Overthinking is a longgggg chain of what ifs. What if that happens, what if it doesn't work, what if i fail, what if. Don't complicate it. Take a breath, you'll be fine.

  1. Zoooom out

In the bigger frame of things, what you're obsessing about doesn't even matter. Try, fail, fall, learn and get back up again. That's life, live it.

  1. "Zen" it out

Thoughts ain't leaving you? Sit at a quiet place and take 10 long deep breaths. Meditate. It helps.

  1. Do one thing well

Make a to-do list. Write down two or three things that you need to do. Do them one by one. You don't have to do everything. Just do one thing well. Life is long. You'll make it.

  1. Catch them 'triggers'

Overthinking is a chain reaction. Like dominos falling. But! there is always that one thought which triggers it all. Find it and fix it.

  1. Talk.

Sometimes sharing what you're feeling with friends, family, or even on social media can calm you down. Bottled feelings ain't good for you. Spurt 'em out.

  1. Enjoy the ride

Life is full of ups and downs. Obsessing about every little thing won't fix it. When it's sunshine, have fun. When it's dark and stormy, let it pass. Life is change, keep moving and you'll be ok.

  1. Be Disciplined

To heal yourself, fix your old toxic patterns and achieve what you choose to focus on.

Enjoy every moment

The main thing in life is life itself, with all its colors, tastes, smells and rhythms. Learn to enjoy every moment, enjoy every new day. Don’t leave unlived moments, live life to the last drop.

An Airbus 380 is on its way across the Atlantic. It flies consistently at 800 km/h at 30,000 feet, when suddenly a Eurofighter with a Tempo Mach 2 appears.
The pilot of the fighter jet slows down, flies alongside the Airbus and greets the pilot of the passenger plane by radio: "Airbus, boring flight isn’t it? Now have a look here!"
He rolls his jet on its back, accelerates, breaks through the sound barrier, rises rapidly to a dizzying height, and then swoops down almost to sea level in a breathtaking dive. He loops back next to the Airbus and asks: "Well, how was that?"
The Airbus pilot answers: "Very impressive, but watch this!"
The jet pilot watches the Airbus, but nothing happens. It continues to fly straight, at the same speed. After 15 minutes, the Airbus pilot radios, "Well, how was that?
Confused, the jet pilot asks, "What did you do?"
The AirBus pilot laughs and says: "I got up, stretched my legs, walked to the back of the aircraft to use the washroom, then got a cup of coffee and a chocolate fudge pastry."
The moral of the story is: When you’re young, speed and adrenaline seems to be great. But as you get older and wiser, you learn that comfort and peace are more important.
This is called S.O.S.: Slower, Older and Smarter.
Dedicated to all my senior friends ~ it’s time to slow down and enjoy the rest of the trip. ?

When you are sad or upset remember:

• Pain is part of growing.

• Everything in life is temporary.

• Worrying and complaining changes nothing.

• Your scars are symbols of your strength.

• Every little struggle is a step forward.

• Other's negativity is not your problem.

• What's meant to be will eventually be.

• The best thing you can do is keep going.
