بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قال الله تعالى

فَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُعَذَّبِينَ

Allāh Ta'ala said,

So invoke not with Allah another ilah (god) lest you should be among those who receive punishment.

{Ash-Shu'ara' 26:213}

TAFSEER 📜

🔹 Here Allah سبحانه وتعالى forbids His Messenger ﷺ first of all, and his Ummah by implication, as they follow him, to call upon anyone other than Allah, of all created beings, for that incurs eternal punishment because it is ascribing partners to Him.

"Whoever ascribes partners to Allah, then Allah has forbidden paradise for him, and the fire will be his abode..." (Al-Ma'idah 5: 72).

🔹Prohibition of a thing is a command to do its opposite, so the prohibition on ascribing partners to Allah سبحانه وتعالى is a command to devote worship to Allah alone, without any partner or associate, out of love, fear, hope and humility, turning towards Him at all time.

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قال الله تعالى

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱبْتَغُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ ٱلْوَسِيلَةَ وَجَٰهِدُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ

Allāh Ta'ala said,

O you who believe! Do your duty to Allah and fear Him. And seek the means of approach to Him, and strive hard in His Cause (as much as you can), so that you may be successful.

{Al-Ma'idah 5:35}

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

قال الله تعالى

لَّقَدْ أَنزَلْنَآ ءَايَٰتٍ مُّبَيِّنَٰتٍۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Allah Ta'ala said,

We have indeed sent down (in this Qur’an) manifest Ayat (proofs, evidence, lessons, signs, revelations, lawful and unlawful things, and the set boundaries of Islamic religion, etc. that make things clear showing the Right Path of Allah). And Allah guides whom He wills to the Straight Path (i.e. to Allah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism).

{An-Nur 24:46}

TAFSEER 📜

• That is, We (Allah) had mercy on Our slaves, and We sent down to them clear signs that point to the teachings of Islam, praiseworthy manners and attitude, endowed with all that leads to guidance. Thus the issues become clear and guidance becomes distinct from misguidance.

• So there is no longer any specious argument to cling to and no reason for the slightest confusion for the one who sincerely seeks the truth, because it has been sent down from One Whose knowledge is perfect, Whose mercy is perfect and Whose explanation is perfect, so no one can explain things any more clearly than He.

• And so that [after that] those who chose to perish [by choosing disbelief] might do so after seeing clear evidence, and those who chose to live [by choosing faith] might do so after seeing clear evidence". (Surah Anfal 8:42)

• And Allah guides whom He will of those who are destined for paradise.

{Tafsir As-Sa'di, Volume No. 6 page 424}

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم?

قال الله تعالى

قُلْ أَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ أَرُونِى مَاذَا خَلَقُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ لَهُمْ شِرْكٌ فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِۖ ٱئْتُونِى بِكِتَٰبٍ مِّن قَبْلِ هَٰذَآ أَوْ أَثَٰرَةٍ مِّنْ عِلْمٍ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ

Say (O Muhammad ﷺ to these pagans): "Think you about all that you invoke besides Allah? Show me. What have they created of the earth? Or have they a share in (the creation of) the heavens? Bring me a Book (revealed before this), or some trace of knowledge (in support of your claims), if you are truthful!"

{Al-Ahqaf 46:4}

Tafseer ?

• "Say" to these people who associate idols and rivals in worship with Allah, which have no power to bring benefit or cause harm, or to cause death, give life or resurrect say to them, highlighting the helplessness of their idols and pointing out that they do not deserve anything of worship:

"Tell me about those on whom you call besides Allah. Show me what they have created on the earth. Or do they have any share in the heavens?."

• Have they created any of the heavenly bodies or any of the creatures on earth? Have they created mountains? Have they caused rivers to flow? Have they scattered animals throughout the earth? Have they caused trees to grow? Did they help in the creation of any of these things?

THEY HAVE DONE NONE OF THESE THINGS, BY THEIR OWN ADMISSION, LET ALONE THE ADMISSION OF ANYONE ELSE.

• This offers definitive rational evidence that the worship of anyone or anything other than Allah is invalid.

Is it Permissible to Request Something from the Prophet ﷺ after his Death?

The Prophet ﷺ is a servant, a created being, a messenger of Allah and Allah caused him to die. Requesting anything from him, such as removing hardships, curing an illness, intercession or anything else is an act of major shirk (polytheism), the doer of such an action will abide in the Hellfire for eternity and Allah will not forgive him. All his righteous actions will become null and void, Allah تعالى said:

[And it has already been revealed to you and to those before you that if you should associate anything in worship with Allah, your actions would surely become worthless, and you would surely be among the losers.]
{39:65}

So it is NOT PERMISSIBLE to request anything from the Prophet ﷺ nor to believe that he fulfills their needs, because it is an act of shirk (polytheism) to Allāh.

Allah تعالى is Al-Hayy (the Ever Living) and Al-Qadeer (completely capable over all things). He is the one who fulfills and takes care of peoples needs, answers the supplications and removes hardships.

Allah تعالى said:

[And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, then there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful] {10:107}

SO ALL NEEDS SHOULD BE REQUESTED FROM ALLAH ALONE.

Allah تعالى said,

[And if my servants ask you (O Muhammad ﷺ) concerning Me then indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me]
{2:186}

Yunus 10:57

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّاسُ قَدْ جَآءَتْكُم مَّوْعِظَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَشِفَآءٌ لِّمَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ وَهُدًى وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ

O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur’an, enjoining all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences) which is in your breasts, - a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers.

Warning against some websites!❌*‼️***

Sheikh Usamah Al Utaybi حفظه الله said:

Alukah is a website of the Sururiyyah, but some scholars and students of knowledge might not be aware of the condition of the people who run it. And this is why they may be lenient about this issue. It is obligatory to alert the sheikh about this so that he does not promote them. The same applies to websites like Dorar Al Saniyyah under the supervision of Alawi Alsaggaf, as well as Saaid Al Fawaid, Islam Q&A under the supervision of the Qutbi Al Munajjid, and Islamweb, which is Ikhwanji (Ikhwani). All of these are websites which belong to Ahlul Bidah (the people of innovation), who spread their poison through sharing benefits related to knowledge. So, the Salafi should be cautious and aware of their deception. And Allah knows best.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:

A man asked the Prophet (ﷺ) "When will the Hour be established O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) . said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, " I haven't prepared for it much of prayers or fast or alms, but I love Allah and His Apostle." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love."

{Sahih al-Bukhari 6171}

Allāh تعالى says in the Qur'an,

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ

And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Sabirun (the patient).

{Al-Baqarah 2:155}

Allāh تعالى says in the Qur'an,

وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُم مَّنْ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضَ لَيَقُولُنَّ ٱللَّهُۚ قُلْ أَفَرَءَيْتُم مَّا تَدْعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ إِنْ أَرَادَنِىَ ٱللَّهُ بِضُرٍّ هَلْ هُنَّ كَٰشِفَٰتُ ضُرِّهِۦٓ أَوْ أَرَادَنِى بِرَحْمَةٍ هَلْ هُنَّ مُمْسِكَٰتُ رَحْمَتِهِۦۚ قُلْ حَسْبِىَ ٱللَّهُۖ عَلَيْهِ يَتَوَكَّلُ ٱلْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ

And verily, if you ask them: "Who created the heavens and the earth?" Surely they will say: "Allah (has created them)." Say: "Tell me then, the things that you invoke besides Allah - if Allah intended some harm for me, could they remove His harm? Or if He (Allah) intended some mercy for me, could they withhold His Mercy?" ???: "?????????? ??? ?? ?? ?????; ?? ??? ????? ??? ????? (?.?. ?????????) ???? ??? ??? ?????."
