As instructed by the Swiss Authorities, we're redistributing the BNB tokens recovered during the pGALA incident of last year.
The BNB tokens are claimable by users in proportion to their eligible pGALA holdings at the time of the second snapshot (S2 - block 22844900), in accordance with the Recovery Plan.

This event marks the completion of the pGALA Recovery Plan outlined last year.

Following August’s decision from the Swiss authorities, today they returned the 12,977 BNB with the obligation to redistribute them to the affected users as described in step 2 of the "Recovery Plan".

Over the next few days we will be working to finalise the recovery plan, further updates will follow very soon.

Importart update:

On November 29th, 2022, we filed a criminal complaint stating, in short, that to protect pGALA from a potential cyberattack that could have been perpetrated by an unknown person (who had recently attacked pNetwork already), we had to carry out a counterattack (white hat intervention) on November 3rd, 2022, which ultimately caused considerable damage to some protocol users. On January 13th, 2023 Huobi also reached out to the same Swiss authority reporting the same facts for their assessment.

We had also trasferred to the authorities the 12,977 BNB recovered during the white hat intervention.

Since then, the Public prosecutor has verified the facts (the documentation submitted by Huobi and us, the traces on the blockchain and the results of an independent third-party report written by a renowned blockchain cybersecurity expert). After careful analysis, the Public prosecutor concluded that there are no elements to support the continuation of a criminal procedure and issued on July 2nd, 2023 a decree of abandonment.

The Public Prosecutor also stated in the decree that in the matter of the white hat intervention, the continuation of further investigative measures is not proportional, as even with the cooperation of the exchanges involved, the material collected would not be decisive for the identification and recovery of the misappropriated amount of money.

Since it was not possible to reliably ascertain the real owners of the stolen funds, the return of the  12,977 BNB tokens to us has been ordered - with the obligation to return them to the injured parties as promised on the step 2 of the “recovery plan”.
The decision has entered into force on August 15th, 2023.

Given the decision above, in the coming weeks the authorites will reach out to us for returning the recovered BNB funds, with the obligation to proceed with the recovery plan as we had initially proposed.

Updates post GalaGames' snapshot:
- 100% of the GALA collateral secured by pNetwork has been included in the GalaGames snapshot.
- Starting tomorrow, pegouts (redeem) from pGALA to GALA ERC-20 will include both GALA v1 & GALA v2 tokens at the same time.
- pGALA pegins are no longer supported.

Once again, we urge all eligible users who haven't yet claimed pGALA & redeemed GALAv1 to do so ASAP.
To ease the process, the min pegout amount is temporarily set to 10.

pNetwork will no longer support pGALA pegins after GalaGames' snapshot.
GALAv1 pegouts will continue as usual.

Gala Games has stated that their snapshot for $GALA v2 will not include pGALA holders, therefore we cannot guarantee that your pGALA will be redeemable on Ethereum for the new GALA v2 token.

We plan to take all the steps in our power to meet the Gala’s snapshot requirements so to get the GALA v2 tokens and redistribute them to the new pGALA token holders as part of the normal redeem process.

As we cannot guarantee that we will be able to meet Gala's requirements, we do not take any responsibility if we are unable to receive the GALA v2 tokens. To avoid any risk, please redeem your new pGALA tokens for the underlying erc20 GALA via dapp.ptokens.io before the snapshot time announced by the Gala Games team.

The pGALA Recovery Plan remains in place and all eligible users will still be able to claim new pGALA tokens and redeem them for $GALA v1.

Update of April 26th, 2023:

We’d like to share that today at 1:45pm UTC, as per our request, the Swiss authorities have taken possession of the 12,977 BNB tokens collected by the white hat intervention in order to safeguard them. Once their assessment of the pGALA incident will be over, we expect to receive them back and to proceed returning them to users.

Update of February 10th, 2023:

While the first part of the Recovery Plan has been completed and all qualifying users that haven't done it yet can claim the new pGALA tokens at a 1:1 ratio, the second part (BNB redistribution) is still on hold.

We had a first meeting with the Swiss authorities (“Ministero Pubblico” of Lugano, Switzerland) to discuss the incident on February 8th. The discussion is still ongoing and we expect some progress to be made in the coming weeks. Hopefully this will allow us to redistribute the recovered BNB to the affected users soon.

Please be assured that it's in our interest to complete the process as quickly as possible and, as always, to be transparent with the community.
