?Okay, so we finished the first day. It was around 30 kilometers stage. It was no prologue for this race, so it was a kind of mixed stage prologue. We won to Helder Oliveira by 18 seconds, so it was quite good day for us. It was really fast and twisty track it was really interesting the navigation or let's say the roadbook was well done, no big things. What I can say more about the Championships. Our main concurrence for the Cup Fernando Barreiros finished, so let's see what will come the next day, because it's a bit strange. We fight for the race, he's fighting by himself, because he's the only one that he's racing against. But anyway, it was a good day at the end. Joao Ramos had some problem, he had a fire on his car. For the championship now it is more João Dias is our main concurrent for the Portuguese championship. Let's see. But we keep focused for tomorrow and I hope that we have the same face tomorrow night.

Adam Kus will compete in the Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos alongside co-driver Marcin Pasek in a Taurus T3 Max in the Challenger category with Akpol Rally Team.

?After our unsuccessful start in the Hungarian Baja, we come back stronger to continue fighting for the highest possible place in the European Cup. I am competing in the Baja Sharish for the second time, I really like this rally, I remember it very well, beautiful views, wonderful country. I hope it will end well for us. We are starting with a new car, after the first tests we are very happy with it. After the rally in Portugal we will go straight to Morocco for more tests before the Rallye du Maroc.

António Carvalho will compete in the Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos alongside co-driver Nélio Antunes in a Can-Am Maverick in the T4 category with Santag Racing Team.

?It will be my second participation at the Baja Sharish Reguengos, the first as pilot. It is a very fast race with a unique surrounding landscape, making it one of the most iconic races in Portugal. I will be racing for the Santag Racing team in the competitive T4 category and hope to achieve, together with all the other teammates, a good result for the team.

Tiago Reis will compete in the Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos de Monsaraz alongside co-driver Candido Carrera in a TAURUS T3 Max in the Challenger category with the Transfradelos team.

Candido Carrera, an experienced Spanish co-driver who normally accompanies Dani Sordo in the World Rally Championship, will join Tiago Reis for this race and until the end of the season.

?During this competitive break we've been testing this TAURUS T3 Max and we really like its performance. At the Baja Aragon we did a longer test and my feelings are very positive and we'll continue with the TAURUS until the end of the national CPTT calendar. Candido Carrera has a track record that speaks for itself and the opportunity arose for us to do this race together.

? Qatar International Baja: Organizers Cover Up to $6,000 for Shipping, Travel, and Accommodation for Competitors

Entries opened today (September 4th) and will close at reduced rates on October 2nd with a final cut-off set for October 16th.

The QMMF is offering generous concessions to competitors who pass both administration and scrutineering checks. Entrants in the FIA categories from the GCC will be offered a shipping allowance of $3,000, with international entrants receiving $6,000. Economy class air tickets will also be supplied by the QMMF for international entrants after entry fees have been paid, in addition to a twin room for five nights with breakfast.

FIA entrants who register before October 2nd will also be eligible for a 10,000 QAR start prize, provided they pass both administration and scrutineering checks with the figure reducing to 8,000 QAR thereafter until October 16th.  

GCC motorcycle and quad riders will be eligible for $1,500 and $3,000 will be offered to international riders. FIM entrants who register before October 2nd will also be eligible for a 5,000 QAR start prize, provided they pass both administration and scrutineering checks with the figure reducing to 4,000 QAR thereafter until October 16th. Similar flight and hotel concessions will also be offered to FIM entries.

The Energylandia Taurus Factory Team has been officially formed with the goal of revolutionizing the Challenger (EX T3) category in motorsports. This collaboration brings together Energylandia and Taurus BV, aiming to develop the most efficient, lightweight, and fastest UTV in the category. The team is set to compete in major events like the Rallye Du Maroc, the 2025 Dakar Rally, and the W2RC 2025.

The team will consist of drivers, mechanics, engineers, and staff from both organizations. The driver lineup includes Eryk Goczał and Oriol Mena, Marek Goczał and Maciej Marton, and Michal Goczał with Szymon Gospodarczyk.
