Not even a year into the coup and the 9 Party principles, which were the foundation of the National Party, unwavering and immutable, now cease to exist and have been replaced by 11 watered-down and vague meaningless ‘principles’.

This visible change in our 9 Principles, while seemingly slight, go directly against the fundamental core in which the National Party stood on.

While unknowing members and supporters of the coup may shrug this off as an inconsequential update, it’s crucial to realise that conceding to one ‘minor’ change will only lead to and appease the idea of further ‘alterations’, until the principles are erased entirely.
