Some things ikhwa should get used to and learn:

- Get used to being in the nature, especially the mountains. Go out a lot in the woods and get used to different lands.

- Get used to not eating, this doesn’t necessarily imply to starve yourself but don’t overeat and try to fast two days a week (Mondays and Thursdays). Food won’t always be by your side.

- Get used to all kinds of weathers, snow, heavy rain, heat. This will be of great benefit as you will get struck with all kinds of weathers.

- Get used to lifting heavy. Challenge your strength, you’ll need it.

- Get used to walking for hours, even running.

- Following with the previous point, get used to running and walking with heavy equipment.

- Learn how to cook! And I’m not saying learn how to make gourmets but learn the basics.

- Learn to live in the woods! Camp a lot and often.

- Learn to rely on minimum equipment.

And ofc more…let’s keep this short bi’ithnillah.

let not the joy of eid make you forget about the muslimeen in prisons and camps

At the end of Ramadan, we all think: "If only I had done more!"

So imagine the regret at the end of our lives.

“men used to fight in wars!”

if you want your son to be like khalid bin al walid, then you have to be like umm ibrahim al hashmiyyah!

you cannot expect a male to grow up upon جihad when he is not being raised upon it, muجahideen are men, but who raise the men? who gives birth to them?

you have to raise your children upon جihad and loving it. you cannot leave them to discover it later on by themselves!
if you want your son to be a shahīd, then raise him upon that way!

just like how جihad becomes fardh al ayn, you need to raise them upon it

you cannot compain about the ummah being deprived of lions in the battlefield when their mothers cannot put in the effort to excite them for it, or to determine them for it
you can't fantasize about men being like the sahaba and diving into the ranks of the enemy when you can't teach them about it

motherhood plays a big role on how the child grows up
do not think that this excuses the man for not defending the ummah by جihad

Ibn Taymiyyah was once asked: "Where are the people of truth."

He replied: "Either under the earth, in prison or in the battlefield."
