A Birthday Tribute to the one and only, Joel Miller; 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐧, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐔𝐗 Æ𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀

ㅤㅤIt was the tree hunt session after a warm breakfast at home. Since everyone has finally shown up, we headed out late this morning to take care of the agenda while the girls stayed back, checking off their own to-do lists as we took on the woods like men on a mission. We started out trek when the sun was breaking through and it only took around fifteen minutes of walking, cracking jokes, and shoving each other around before we found one perfect pine tree for our Christmas decorations tonight. And once the tree was down, we shifted gears to hunt deadwood for firewood. The real fun began when we took the lumberjack turns and did some chaotic competition. Although the Tahoe weather was ehh, you know.. the weather when the winter chill didn’t care about the sun as it cut through us so it made every swings a little more intense. But just as we got into it, the snowflakes started falling, although almost nobody noticed it at first until Michael called it out. Probably because Jeff was very determined to kick the snow off the branches and tried to drop it on our heads, that fucker. We spent a minimum one hour collecting the wood and the idiot brothers-in-law of mine, Damien and Pyriel, took charge of dragging the tree to the truck, then we finally drove back. It was an even heated competition at home when Maverick, Jeff, Mikail, and I showed off our strength splitting logs. Special mention to the English lad, dude's built like a tank and those goddamn biceps don’t lie. All in all, what a wonderful day in Tahoe with the boys.
