For me, the most important thing is to PROVE myself right and others wrong!
Many of you have been talking about chatGPT, and yes! Now you can use an Uzbek number to log in.
The only trick is to use VPN at first, that's it.
Want to feel the real exam atmosphere?
Sattorbek Yuldashev, an 8.5 holder, is organizing a mock test on November 5.
Do not miss your chance!
Now, why do my students keep getting scores that are inches away from one band score that is higher??
Sevara was one of the strictest students I had. She had this killer mindset that allowed her to think sharp. I sincerely congratulate her on this achievement.(inches away from a 7.5 tho). I haven't been able to help her in the last 3-4 months, Suhrob teacher has his part in this too. Kudos to him as well. A nice result to start the Wednesday!
Assalomu alaykum.
Good morning everyone!
Hard work does NOT equal success on English tests.
As my student once said, "Show me a rich donkey if hard work pays."
Data shows many students work hard without progress. IELTS reports an average Writing score of just 5.5. Our data shows the average student fails 2.7 times and spends over X on failing the test.
Why?
It's like running on a hamster wheel, hard work, but you go nowhere.
English tests judge the ability to communicate in English. Many students waste time on activities that do NOT improve this.
The worst are:
- Watching videos teaching cheating tricks.
- Taking too many practice tests.
- Attending schools teaching known information or having uninformed teachers.
- Switching from one English test to the next, hoping for luck.
- Spending too much time on social media.
- Reading every IELTS book.
- Being around negative people who blame others for their failure.
- Taking online courses that give general information about the test.
- Getting feedback from those with similar IELTS scores to yourself.
Months or even years may be wasted without improvement.
Ask yourself, "Does this help me communicate in English effectively?" If not, find something that does.
IELTS Advantage
