Okay I’m ranting again. On TikTok I just watched a video of a tiny little dog, clearly starving, with a sweet demeanor and needing help. Mind you this was like in India or like china or something. The comment section was riddled with “how can people be this way” or “how can there be such indifference” GIRL this is like every nonwhite country. Many of these people are significantly lower empathy. I’m obviously still sad for the pups and what not, but no one is willing to call out the elephant in the room. ?

Honey Angel Food Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
• 1 cup cake flour
• 1 ish cups honey
• 12 large egg whites, at room temperature
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon almond extract (optional)
Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Make sure your tube pan is clean and dry, but do not grease it.
2. Sift the cake flour into a bowl and set aside.
3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until they become frothy. Add the salt and cream of tartar.
4. Continue beating the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the honey in a slow, steady stream while continuing to beat the mixture. Beat until the egg whites hold stiff peaks.
5. Gently fold in the vanilla and almond extracts.
6. Sift the cake flour over the egg white mixture in small batches, gently folding it in after each addition. Take care not to deflate the batter.
7. Pour the batter into an ungreased 10-inch tube pan. Smooth the top with a spatula.
8. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
9. Immediately invert the pan onto a cooling rack and let the cake cool completely in the pan.
10. Once cooled, run a knife around the edges of the pan to loosen the cake and gently remove it.
