Strive upon that which gives you benefit

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُؤْمِنُ الْقَوِيُّ خَيْرٌ وَأَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الضَّعِيفِ، وَفِي كُلٍّ خَيْرٌ، احْرِصْ عَلَى مَا يَنْفَعُكَ، وَاسْتَعِنْ بِاللَّهِ وَلَا تَعْجِزْ، وَإِنْ أَصَابَكَ شَيْءٌ فَلَا تَقُلْ : لَوْ أَنِّي فَعَلْتُ كَانَ كَذَا وَكَذَا. وَلَكِنْ قُلْ : قَدَرُ اللَّهِ وَمَا شَاءَ فَعَلَ. فَإِنَّ لَوْ تَفْتَحُ عَمَلَ الشَّيْطَانِ ". أخرجه مسلم ٢٦٦٤.

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said : A strong believer is better and is more lovable to Allaah than a weak believer (in eeman), and there is good in everyone of both, and strive upon that which gives you benefit (in the Hereafter) and seek help from Allaah and do not lose hope by loosing resolve, and if anything afflicts you, don't say: If I had done that, this would have happened like this and that, rather say: Allaah ordained it and what He wills He does. For verily "if I had" opens the works for the shaytaan. Muslim 2664 transmitted it.

Yemen, a country situated at the southwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula. Home to the Salafi Da'wah from Yemen - and all praise is to Allah. One of the strongest, if not the strongest Salafi Da'wah in the world! Headed by the esteemed Shaykh, the Allaamah Yahya bin Al-Hajoori - may Allah preserve him, and supported by a number of elite Mashaayikh and superb students of knowledge who spend their lives in service of Islam and the Muslims - may Allah preserve them.

➤From the distinguishing factors of the Salafi Da'wah in Yemen is that the teaching is taking place in the Masjid far away from the worldly temptations of certificates and diplomas. And these Masaajid wherein the religion of Allah aza wa jala is being taught are many, and all praise is to Allah for facilitating this.

➤From the distinguishing factors of the Salafi Da'wah in Yemen is that those aforementioned Mashaayikh and their students dedicate a large portion of their days to teach multiple lessons in various fields of knowledge without asking the people for something in return! Yes for free! Here attending public lessons, private lessons, one on one tutoring, cultivation by Scholars and Shaykhs and Students; who have been recommended and appraised by those that are qualified, is for free!

May Allah preserve for us this good and allow us to pass this good on to others, in the manner it has been received!

Shingaani.

عن عبدالله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : المُتَمسِّكُ بسُنَّتِي، عندَ اختلافِ أُمَّتِي كالقابضِ على الجمرِ. حسنه الألباني في صحيح الجامع (٦٦٧٦).

Abdullaah Ibnu Mas'ood رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allāh صلى الله عليه وسلم said : The one who adheres to my Sunnah, when my nation disagrees, is like the one holding a hot coal. Shaykh Al-Albaanee declared it hasan in Saheeh Al-Jaami 6676.

It is forbidden to belittle the Muslim no matter how poor or ignorant he may be

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏ "‏ رُبَّ أَشْعَثَ مَدْفُوعٍ بِالأَبْوَابِ لَوْ أَقْسَمَ عَلَى اللَّهِ لأَبَرَّهُ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ أخرجه مسلم ٢٦٢٢.

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه narrated that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Many a dishevelled, dusty person who is turned away from the doors, if he were to swear by Allaah, Allaah would fulfill his oath." Muslim 2622 transmitted it.

The great Scholar Ibnu Uthaymīn رحمه الله said:

It is forbidden to belittle the Muslim, no matter how poor or ignorant he may be, thus, do not look down on him. The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Many a dishevelled, dusty person, who is turned away from the doors, if he were to swear by Allaah, Allaah would fulfill his oath."

"Dishevelled, dusty": He is incapable of cleaning himself (of the dust).
"Turned away from the doors": No one opens the door for him, and if someone opens the door for him and recognizes him as so-and-so, they shut the door in his face, pushing him away with the door.

The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم says: "If he were to swear by Allaah, Allaah would fulfill his oath." So how can you belittle your Muslim brother?

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ مَظْلَمَةٌ لأَحَدٍ مِنْ عِرْضِهِ أَوْ شَىْءٍ فَلْيَتَحَلَّلْهُ مِنْهُ الْيَوْمَ، قَبْلَ أَنْ لاَ يَكُونَ دِينَارٌ وَلاَ دِرْهَمٌ، إِنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَمَلٌ صَالِحٌ أُخِذَ مِنْهُ بِقَدْرِ مَظْلَمَتِهِ، وَإِنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ لَهُ حَسَنَاتٌ أُخِذَ مِنْ سَيِّئَاتِ صَاحِبِهِ فَحُمِلَ عَلَيْهِ ‏"‌‏.‏ رواه البخاري ٢٤٤٩.

Abu Hurayrah رضي الله reported:  that the Messenger of Allaah صلى الله عليه وسلم said: "Whoever has oppressed another person concerning his reputation or anything else, he should beg him to forgive him before the Day of Resurrection when there will be no money (to compensate for wrong deeds), but if he has good deeds, those good deeds will be taken from him according to his oppression which he has done, and if he has no good deeds, the sins of the oppressed person will be loaded on him."
