One of the wines that we tasted during my volcanic wines event was the Erupcao Vulcanica from Azores Wine Co.

This is truly a fun wine to drink. A blend of many local varieties from different vintages, it has only 11% alcohol and is drinking like a cherry/wild strawberry juice (but better!;) ). Light, fresh, juicy, with a hint of saltiness in the finish. It is not an utterly complex meditation wine, this is a wine to have good fun with, great for parties, and it is very enjoyable. Friendly wine, I would say.

Here's something I tasted last night and quite enjoyed: a sparkling wine from around Cadiz, from a "Sherry triangle" (region where they mae Xerez). Made from 70% Palomino and 30% Chardonnay, traditional method, 20 months on the lees. From a well-known Sherry producer.

I founf it quite satisfying, and it is still affordable (17.50). Not that it will blow your mind, but with all wines becoming more and more expensive, it is good to have options, and this is surely a good one.

Kierdorf Wein is selling Galpin Peak Pinot Noir 2020 from Bouchard Finlayson (South Africa, Walker Bay area) for just 22.50€. This is cheaper than the current vintage at the winery in South Africa. Other websites in Germany sell it for 36-37.

I highly recommend you take some if you like a bit more opulent and a touch smoky expression of Pinot. I liked it during my visit to SA in the last 2 weeks and was surprised to find it in DE for this price.

They also offer Missionvale Chardonnay 2020 from the same producer for just 19.90. Current vintage at the winery costs around 21€...

I guess this is due to the "older" vintages (2020), but both wines can survive longer than this if they were stored properly.

Good deal on Caparzo Brunello di Montalcino 2018 - only 23.90 on topdropmarket.de. - as always, limited offer, when it is gone - it is gone.
2018 is a vintage that can already be drunk and enjoyed. So can be a good idea to order a couple of bottles and have some entry-level Brunello at home to drink now.

Rare find. Gattinara (Nebbiolo) from Parida Iaretti for 25.90

The only catch is that it is 2012. So either you get a great wine in a perfect condition or, if it was not stored properly, over the edge oxidized stuff.
So this one is for the ones who are ready to risk a little bit and maybe get it all.
Nebbiolo from Gattinara from a good producer can, of course, age well. All depends on the storage conditions.
