3. Inner Tunic: - Retina: Light-sensitive; 10 layers (9 sensory + 1 pigment epithelium).
- Specialized areas:
- Macula Lutea: Yellow, central area.
- Fovea Centralis: Sharp color vision (cones only).
- Lens: Transparent structure suspended by zonules; contributes to refraction (1/3 of total power).
