SaucerSwap has delivered on its initial vision. What began as an ambitious project to bring DeFi to Hederahas evolved into the network's cornerstone protocol—consistently ranking among the top 30 DEXs globally by liquidity.

But this is just the beginning.
In the coming weeks, we will unveil our multi-year roadmap for what we're calling 'The Renaissance of SaucerSwap.'

This isn't about incremental improvements or feature additions. This is about fundamental expansion—scaling SaucerSwap several times over and reimagining what's possible for DeFi on Hedera.

We've proven that we can build essential infrastructure:

• Power price, liquidity, and volume data for every HTS token on the network
• Process more daily trades than some regional exchanges
• Serve as the backbone for the entire ecosystem—powering everything from wallet integrations to oracle feeds

Now it's time to scale this foundation into something unprecedented.

Our new roadmap will outline our vision for the next phase of growth—one where we transform from Hedera's leading DeFi protocol into a cornerstone of digital market infrastructure.

Development Update! ?

As our team will be attending Token2049 in Singapore this month, we will adjourn our Discord AMA and circle back next month. However, we want to give you an update on development.

Here's the TL;DR:

⭐️ Voting delegation will go live shortly, likely this coming week. This will help proposals and elections reach quorum.
⭐️ We are currently working on an implementation to send notifications on social media (X & Discord) when proposals and elections go live.
⭐️ These next couple of months should be transformative for interoperability. We are working with two major bridge partners to unlock the next phase of liquidity and user inflow to Hedera.
⭐️ Hedera WalletConnect has been largely successful but still has issues. We want you to know that we hear your concerns and complaints and are actively working with the team leading Hedera WalletConnect on improving connectivity issues.

• Implemented vote delegation functionality with a new delegation page, scheduled to be launched this coming week
• Added display for total votes across proposals and elections
• Improved UI with remaining time countdown and minor tweaks
• Fixed xSAUCE display issue

Wallet Connect:
• Added better error handling in transaction execution flow
• Investigating multi-session connect capabilities
• Addressed wallet profile issues

Interface Fee Improvements:
• Created settings option to fix routes to SSv2 only
• Added support for multiple v1 routers and approvals to different contract IDs

Infinite Data Stores (Athena):
• Successfully deployed all Athena functionality for table creation, reads/writes, and ongoing updates to S3
• Completed migration of historical data to parquet Athena datastores
• Finalized implementation and released to production

LARI Optimizations:
• Completed Liquidity Hours calculations project
• Conducted multiple manual checks to ensure accuracy
• Implemented fixes for LARI rewards data calculation edge cases

Governance Backend:
• Deployed vote delegation system to testnet
• Implemented recursive algorithm to count votes of all delegators
• Added functionality to validate and manage voting delegations
• Developed API endpoints for delegation changes

Performance Enhancements:
• Deprecated old per-minute data archives
• Transitioned to Athena queries for improved efficiency

Development Update! ?

We're thrilled to share the latest progress on the SaucerSwap web-app, server, and API.

Our team has been working diligently to introduce new features, optimize performance, and elevate the overall user experience.

Here's what we've accomplished:

? Front-end Developments:

⚖️ Governance:
• Updated UI to reflect new schema with multiple proposal options
• Enabled revoting after initial vote casting and display voting power and tentative results in prototype UI
• Implemented sorting/filtering and initial responsive design for mobile
• Env variable updates to allow for deployment

? Moonpay Integration:
• Debugged issues with wallet format and server signature with the help of the moonpay team
• Applied react-query appropriately to maintain front-end cache and cleaned up UI for better user experience

? Miscellaneous Updates:
• Updated bitnet carousels, new position buttons, and pool fee display fixes
• Deployed Farms/Pools v2 updates, including HLiquity_
and farm updates in response to the $HBAR Spring Incentives campaign
• Corrected LARI display issues

? Back-end Developments:

? Temporal Integration:
• Migrated 8 more jobs to Temporal on dev and prod environments
• Defined architectural requirements for LARI 300, requiring complex data engineering
• Deployed a process monitor that watches pm2 processes

? LARI Optimizations:
• Created functions to calculate rewards from stored liquidity hours in DB
• All calculations and workflows complete, investigating and resolving small discrepancies with hourly liquidity hours vs. 2-week all-at-once jobs
• Once resolved, we're ready for hourly updates to LARI rewards, pending endpoint creation

?️ Governance Backend:
• Finalized schema with multiple options for proposals, added zod validation, and additional validations to ensure message validity
• Completed draft of governance service to count votes correctly - PR pending review
• Updated DB schema to allow for $SAUCE / $XSAUCE units to be added to voting power info and added generateElectionFromProposal() to governance services
• Created a running total for votes with endTimestamp validation

?️ Performance Enhancements:
• Updated ICHI Fees APR calculations to use a 7-day average of fees rather than last 24 hours
• Investigated RAM issues for token OHLCV numbers and considering alternative options
• Excluded SSLP tokens to improve performance
