When you peel off the layers of acquired needs that we accumulate through the endless marketing tsunami we are exposed to daily, you will find that the one thing we really need is to feel connected.

Honest, truthful connections with others are not easy, precisely because most people walk around with countless layers of pretense, political correctness, indoctrination, material symbolism and often plain and simple bs.

With age, one grows less tolerant of certain traits and more picky when it comes to spending time with anyone, but when you do find someone you connect with, you cherish and nurture the relationship like never before.

Currently we are not just going through a transformation, but a revelation, people are being exposed for who they truly are. The ‘disguises’ are not hiding anyone’s true identity, the layers are peeling off and suddenly everyone’s true colours are coming through. It’s never been easier to tell who you want or not, in your life.

Feeling connected is as important to a healthy life as nutrition and exercise, and having the wrong people in your life, is likewise as unhealthy as drugs and alcohol.

So nurture the positive connections and unplug from negative ones.
It’s the wise thing to do.

There are days and days, and today is one of those days when simply coping with everything I’ve got going becomes more than I can manage. Forgive me but I won’t be able to work on my channel today.

‘UP’ is a sad, but very beautiful story of love, friendship and adventure. Just like the protagonist, we must have the faith, that everything is possible.
