Ibn Rajab al-Ḥanbalī رحمه الله said:

Man! Were you to go to the door of the governor, he would not receive you or give you any attention, perhaps he will even prevent you from getting near him.

But the King of Kings is saying, ‘Whoever comes to Me walking, I will go to him running,’ yet you turn away from Him and run after another! You have been cheated in the worst of manners and you have lost out in the severest of ways!

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

“Moreover the heart, it becomes dry if it is devoid of the Tawheed of Allaah, and of loving Him and knowledge and awareness of Him, and remembering Him and of supplicating to Him.”

Asraar as-Salaat p.28

«لو قيل لك: إن شخصين يقتتلان على بعوضة لسخرت من عقليهما، فكيف والكثيرون يقتتلون ويتقاطعون على الدنيا التي لا تساوي جناح بعوضة.

ومن عرف هذه الحقيقة لم يأسف على شيء
من حطام الدنيا، ولا من مناصبها وجاهها»

الحَمْدُلله أننا نُؤجر على صبرنا
الحَمْدُلله أننا نُؤجر على كل مايصيبنا

In his collection of narration, Abu al-Qasim al-Baghawi wrote:

[أتى رجل عبدالله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه فقال : يا أبا عبدالرحمن علمني كلمات جوامع نوافع ؟
فقال : اعبد الله ولا تشرك به شيئا ، وزل مع القرآن حيث زال ، ومن جاءك بالحق فاقبل منه وإن كان بعيداً قصياً ، ومن جاءك بالباطل فاردده وإن كان قريبا حبيباً .]

A man came to Abdullah ibn Mas'ood and said, "Abu 'Abd al-Rahman, teach me some comprehensive and beneficial words."

Ibn Mas'ood replied, "Worship Allah without worshiping anything alongside Him. Go wherever the Qur'an takes you. Whoever comes to you with the truth, accept it from him even if he is a rough person whom you have no connection with. Whoever comes to you with falsehood, reject it even if he is a beloved close relative."

ڕۆژێــــــــك دێـــــت ده‌ڵێــــیـــــت خودا بە جۆرێك دڵی سارێژ کردم هەرگیز خەونــــم پێـــوەی نەدەدی..!!

"يا خَالقَ الرُّوح إنَّ الروحَ مُتعبة
فَامنُن إلهي علىٰ المَكلومِ بالفرج!"

Yahya bin Mu’ādh رحمه الله said:

“The hearts are like cooking pots. They boil with that which they contain and their tongues are their ladles. Therefore, look at a man when he speaks.

His tongue will scoop up for you that which is contained in his heart, whether it is sweet, bitter, fresh, salty and/or other than that. The flavour of his heart will become apparent to you from that which his tongue scoops up.”
