Sheikh Al-Albaani -may Allaah have mercy upon him- said:

The religion is NOT by intellect NOR by sentiment, rather, [it is] by obeying the rulings of Allaah in His Book and the rulings of His Messenger ﷺ in his Sunnah and in his hadeeth!

Al-'Allaamah Ibn 'Uthaymeen -may Allaah have mercy upon him- said:

REFUTING FALSEHOOD — be it an innovation in SPEECH, CREED or ACTION — is the TRUTH, and abandoning it is BLAMEWORTHY.

And if it is said to he who rejects this: [their response would be] keep yourself busy with your own flaws instead of others' flaws.

We say to them: And this is from MY OWN SHORTCOMING if I do NOT refute falsehood, because REFUTING FALSEHOOD is an OBLIGATION!

Gloating over a calamity which strikes the people of misguidance.

When Ahmad bin Abu Daud who was at the forefront of the Fitnah of the creation of the Qur'an was struck by paralysis at the end of life.

Shaykh Abdulaziz Al-Kinaani Rahimahullah -who was from the students of Imam Shaafi'i Rahimahullah- visited him and said:

"I didn't come to you as a visitor (because you're sick), rather I came to praise Allah that He imprisoned you in your own skin".

Reference: As-Siyar by Imam Adh-Dhahabi, Rahimahullah (11/169).

Al-'Allaamah Saalih Al-Fawzaan -may Allaah preserve him- said:

It is NOT permissible for a Muslim that knows a thing or two to be quiet with it whilst he sees that the people are in need of it, especially the knowledge of TAWHEED and 'AQEEDAH, because if he does that — he has ABANDONED a GREAT OBLIGATION!

Sheikh Saalih Al-Fawzaan -may Allaah preserve him- said:

Fitan is like flood, NO ONE is SAVED from it, EXCEPT he who HOLDS unto the SUNNAH, and it will not be possible to hold unto the SUNNAH except you KNOW IT [i.e., the SUNNAH]!

Al-'Allaamah Ibn Baaz -may Allaah have mercy upon him- said:

If the people of truth were silent regarding clarifying the truth, the wrongdoers will continue upon their mistakes and others will blindfollow them in that, then the silent people becomes a pandemic due to the sin of concealment [i.e., concealing knowledge]!
